Covid-19 REsponse

updated April 20th, 2021 15:15pm

To our valued patients,

At this time, ALL PATIENTS must have stayed in the Island Health Authority for the entire 14 days preceding any upcoming in person appointments. Due to the new variants of concern becoming more prevalent in the community we need to increase our safety procedures. We are also now requiring ALL people in the clinic to wear MEDICAL grade masks (non-fabric/non-homeade) and all our staff will be wearing medical grade masks and facesheilds to help keep you safe. Most of the staff have been vaccinated up to this date; however there are still more risks with in-person treatment than tele-health. Please consider tele-health as we have had great success with it to date.

We continue providing Tele-Rehabilitation service throughout this time and it continues to show great results sometimes even better than we see for in-person treatment. So for those more vulnerable and those that are more concerned about in-person treatment please try out a FREE tele-health consult to get a feel for how a virtual assessment or treatment would feel.

We continue to closely follow the guidance of our regulatory bodies, WorkSafeBC and our lease facilities to ensure we have the best possible setup to ensure everyones safety. We continue to stay stocked in PPE but please try and bring your own MEDICAL grade masks.

We will continue to provide the care you have come to trust through in-person and virtual/telephone appointments. We will keep you up to date on any changes going forward. Click  to learn more or here to Book Now.

We can offer a combination of Tele-Rehab and/or in-person appointments:

  1. Tele-Rehab: if you haven’t tried it already or you’ve been on the fence, definitely consider this as a way to access Physiotherapy, Kinesiology or Athletic Therapy. We have seen great results (and in some ways better) because diagnosis, education, exercise and self-care can all be done in the comfort of your own living room!

  2. All In-Person Appointments: Come with a mask on and make sure you fill out the COVID-19 survey before each in-person visit.

  3. Kinesiology & Athletic Therapy: We now have our own private gym access in our Esquimalt Location in the Recreation Centre. We can also continue to provide your rehabilitation via Tele-Rehab for Kinesiology and Athletic Therapy along with in-person appointments.

We want to sincerely thank everyone for their patience and understanding during this difficult time. Let’s continue to care for ourselves, loved ones and community!
