PERSONALITY

Nadine believes that being a Physiotherapist is an honour; she will meet you were you are at and coach you towards deeper resiliency. Ultimately the goal is to help balance your nervous system, build capacity in your physical body and coach your body to do what it does best, which is to adapt. With the right evidence based treatment planning and a personalized whole mind and body approach, every patient can benefit from a rehabilitation. Her B.Sc with Honours and Master’s of Physical Therapy have built the foundation for critical thinking, reflecting in her practice and life long learning. Her clinical knowledge is paired with a passion for exercise as medicine and her experience working in this field spans nearly a decade.

In addition to treating general injuries; Nadine has developed her expertise in the field of Cancer Rehabilitation. Her approach to cancer care helps to manage symptoms through utilizing movement as medicine. Nadine has completed various advanced training in cancer rehab as she was inspired by both personal connections and a growing need in this area. Working with the University of Alberta, Nadine stays committed to advancing research and collaborating with researchers in the field of exercise and cancer. 

​Nadine is a strong advocate for exercise as medicine , providing personalized exercise planning for all patients with cancer at any stage. When she’s not connecting with patients and sharing science, you can find her strength training, playing with fermentation, cuddling her puppy and attempting to kite-surf!
